School Field Trips
Abel's Apple Acres is pleased to offer special fall field trips at our working apple ranch on weekdays, September through December.
Our basic trip begins with a ride in a tractor-drawn wagon through the apple orchard. There, you will learn about apple ranching from blossom through harvest in a presentation geared toward your needs. On the way back to the apple barn, the wagon rolls past the duck pond and pastures.
Inside the barn, your group will enter our
large modern kitchen where all will see first hand how apples
are made into delectable bakery goodies. And, everyone will receive
a fresh apple donut, cool apple juice, and a crisp apple.

Reserve your field trip date now to get the time you need on your calendar. Book in the month of September, and you will be able to pick an apple off a tree in the orchard before the harvest.
